Catching up....Again: Sept 12- September 30. 2008

Life has almost been too boring to write in this blog plus I've been really busy.........

1.) I've been working on sculpture projects, (pictures of which I will post on Thursday, after my critique)

2.) I've been doing the whole jewelry school thing,(which may end soon since Zales/Gordons believe that it is more financially viable to lay off all the jewelers and out source repairs to the jokers who fix Wal-Mart's Jewelry, so Doug was let go and has a new job in Stutgart,but he still wants to live in Jonesboro so maybe he will still teach me)

3.) I've been busy watching The Office: Season 4 and for anyone who didnt catch the 1st episode of Season 5 my #1 favorite TV couple got engaged!!!!!!

My #2 & #3 Tv couples however are having some serious termoil!

Dwangela or Angady? I cannot see this going well.

My AT&T contract is up......

Which new Phone should I get? I am torn. They are both so pretty& I cannot decide.

Jamtoast

A couple of weeks ago my friend Hillary started an online store and I just got on in for the first time last night. She has some really cute stuff. All who read this Blog should check it out. This is what I bought.....

Jeweler Lessons

After I posted my last Blog entry I did some laundry, and got ready for my first day of Jewelering School. On Saturday I observed Doug, the jeweler, from 11:00-1:30. Then he left me and told me that I needed to make a ring by Monday. So I sat down and made a ring. He gave me a bar of silver and told me how not to blow myself up and then he went hunting. So I've got this bar of metal and I made a ring. 1.) I bent the silver with bending plyers,till it was kind of round 2.) I cut the metal with a jewelers saw 3.) I dipped the silver in Boric Acid and Alcohol to get it ready for heat and then set it on fire, the mix of acid and alcohol made the ring burst into a really beautiful green flame but it dies out quickly 4.) I soldered the two ends of the silver together 5.) I polished it, polished it some more 6.) Buffed it. and I had a ring. It was amazing. It felt very fluid and natural, and amazing. I went to my second day of jewelering and made another ring I'm really excited.

Yesterday

Yesterday Melissa and I went car shopping. We found her a 2008 Yaris 4 door sedan, it was really nice, fuel efficicient, spacious, and it was this really great color to called Bayou Blue. I love the Yaris I want one too, but I want the Liftback instead of the sedan. Anyways yesterday I went car shopping with Melissa, we had a really good time and then we got $.99 Banana Split Juniors at Sonic which just makes everyday perfect. I still cant believe I had never had a Banana Split till my 2nd year of college, how many Banana Splits could I have been enjoying from birth to the age of 20? I have missed so much.

July: 1.) Worked 2.) Was reunited with childhood friend Brianne Martin now known as Brianne Umburger 3.) Celebrate Daddy Ronald's B-day 4.)Hung out with my sisters Emily and Micah 5.) Saw The Dark Knight 4 times with Tim 6.)Read Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven

August: 1.) Read the entire Twilight Series! Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse,and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyers 2.) Started a sculpture project involving the distruction of my back brace that I am very excited about 3.)Started School 4.) Changed my major 5.) Went to an Art Gallery opening with my mom that features Gayle Pendergrass and John Salvest (ASU Faculty) I love Jay's Sculptures. 5.) Read The Host by Stephenie Meyers 6.) Had movie and dinner dates with friends Hilary and Clabe 7.) got sick 8.) got better...................
